Jeff looks like he's been doing this his whole life.

Today, at our site in Mount Washington Park, Jeff, Shaqualy, Shardae, Tyonna, and I (Katie) broke off from the rest of the group to head down the trail and finish the check step we started. We were under a pretty crazy time crunch, so we had to work hard and fast. One part of putting in check steps is filling behind them with crush (basically like homemade fill rocks) to help secure them in place. In this video, Jeff was using the sledgehammer to make the crush and he has AMAZING form for someone who just started using that thing today. We all agreed that making crush is an excellent job when you have some frustrations to take out. Great job today!
