Hummingbirds

Attraction
Hummingbirds are attracted by such plants as the global thistle, the cardinal flower, and coral bells.+
Hummingbirds can eat up to their body weight each day when they are fattening up for the fall migration.
Hummingbirds dont eat seeds at all, they mostly eat nectar but not only nectar. They may visit 1,000 flowers per day in their search of nectar. They also eat small insects such as gnats, midges, flying ants and small beetles.
